Departure releases from Honolulu Control Facility · Tower
A coordination aid between your tower and Honolulu Control Facility. It does not replace official release procedures. If anything here is unclear or does not match what HCF tells you, call HCF.
Every flight plan filed out of your airport, any destination, by P-time. When HCF runs a CFR (call for release) program to a flight's destination, a Request release button shows on the left of its strip. When the aircraft is ready, press it and enter the P-time; HCF's board sends back the first open slot as your release. ROLLING tells HCF the aircraft is on the takeoff roll, on the runway picked here. An EDCT, CFR (call for release) or GS from HCF flashes on the strip; a flashing yellow border means HCF wants you to look at that flight.
HCF is not receiving rolling calls right now. Make the rolling call the usual way.
